Kena is a powerful female producer and musician duo based in Los Angeles. 

Multi instrumentalists Adrienne "AeB" Byrne and Luna Achiary unite forces to create dynamic sets, rooted in deep house, electro pop and world music.  

By combining synthesizers, flutes, handpans, guitars, drum machines, mbira, winds and vocal psychedelic loops, Kena is on a quest to enchant the world, filling the gap between human and the machine. 

Their sensual, soulful blend can remind of Rufus du Sol, Bjork, Bonobo and Radiohead.

The Earth Harp, the most notable of William's sonic inventions, holds the Guinness World Record for Largest Playable String Instrument. William has performed on the Earth Harp in many illustrious locations around the world including The Kennedy Center, Shanghai International Arts Festival, Coachella, and Cirque Du Solei.

William & Aeb met while performing on the CBS show World's Best in 2018. Finding a natural musical synergy they began exploring new ways to use the Earth Harp.

Making full use of the worldly sound palette of KENA as well as William's inventions, these musical journeys have yielded an eclectic yet cohesive body of 21st century music. Pairings with other unique contemporary instruments such as the handpans and Array Mbira, contemporary classical inspired pieces featuring grand piano, flute, and operatic vocals, and lush synth heavy vocal led tracks.

Echo Mountain is the first of these collaborations to be released, named after their favorite hiking spot in Altadena just before the mountain range ignited into the largest fire in Los Angeles County history.

In a time of change and transformation that is often not by choice but necessity, this music is a movement that embraces the energy of the times, carving new and inspiring paths through the ever changing landscape of life in 2020 and beyond.
